Cajun seasoning is rooted in Louisianna and consists of a base of garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper. It is often combined with several other dried herbs and spices. Blackened seasoning is also rooted in Louisianna and adds paprika, oregano, thyme, and several varieties of pepper.
